People often ask me if Jiu Jitsu would be a good idea for their child(ren). The answer is emphatically YES! Our program is built with kids from the ages of 3 years old and up who flock from Palm Desert, Indio, and as far as Coachella and Thermal. Why? Our program is built on learning the values of discipline and respect. Those seem like perfectly good things to teach our youth but... Do you know many kids from ages Kinder to Teens who care about learning those values? The answer is emphatically NO or not many! So how do we go about teaching these values? The trick is not letting the kids know it! One thing we do know about kids is they LOOOOOOOVE to play, try dragging them off their electronic devices or ending recess. So if your Martial Arts program is not built around the kids “playing” good luck keeping them engaged. Another tool we have found success with is an On Command style of teaching, this system allows kids to learn while developing their listening skills, making a majority of their learning come in the form of games which require you to pay attention and listen. Come try out a FREE class and get your child started on their Martial Arts journey for their summer program that will have them learning as much as they are playing. Don’t just take it from me though.
Here’s what some of our students’ parents have to say:
Children enjoy the class, professional and interesting for them. The coaches are very patient and nice. -Amy M
Such a great place for the entire family to go and learn a valuable life skill. Great atmosphere and staff. Looking forward to being long time customers. -Paulina H

Have a great one, looking forward to seeing you soon!
Keep your eyes peeled for “BUDDY DAY”, a day where students can each bring a “buddy” to sweat, learn, and share the Jiu Jitsu experience with them.
The date of the next BUDDY DAY is Monday, July 23rd, 2018 during the regularly scheduled class times. There will also be snacks, drinks, games and prizes. We look forward to seeing our Ribeiro family there, and some.
PLEASE NOTE: Buddy Day is for ALL students, not just kids. If you have witnessed the power of Jiu Jitsu, why not share it with your closest pal? Trying a Jiu Jitsu class for the first time can be very intimidating. What better way to start than with a friend and a great vibe! See you there, oss!
